So...
As you all know, Abigail Grace decided to bless us with her presence 2 weeks early! It was such a great surprise, but it interfered with our shower!
Last Wednesday night, when my mom called me to tell me Sarah's water broke was also when I was just about to update this blog with the date for our shower, which was going to be this past Tuesday. Sarah had to open up all the gifts last week, since some of them she needed for Abby right away (such as her wonderful "Boppy!").
So here is what we are going to do...
1. I will be posting pictures of all of the gifts Sarah and Abby received as soon as I get them from Sarah and David (I took them with their camera!). If you still have a gift to send, please do! I will post pictures on a rolling basis most likely.
2. Instead of doing a game (since we can't guess the due date, etc), if you have any advice or words of encouragement for Sarah I will be creating a separate blog post for that (I will let you know when it is up!). Make sure you write your name. I will be making a little book for Sarah and Abby. (Please participate in this no matter what! Even if you can't send a gift!) UPDATE: the link to put advice is now LIVE at the top of this page!
Obviously this did not go as planned, but Abby just decided her timing was more fun and wanted to be here for the freezing cold Minnesota winter (the coldest weekend so far!!). Thanks so much for being part of this shower. I know Sarah is very thankful for each of you.

A date..in progress.
We are just trying to nail down a date for this week! Have you ordered a gift yet? The plan is to do this sometime this week, or early next week. I just have to find a night where Sarah and I can get together and have fun!

WELCOME!
Welcome to Sarah's online baby shower blog! After much discussion, Sarah and I decided this would be a great idea for a shower since so many of her friends and family live miles away and we want YOU to be part of preparing for this precious baby girl!
If you have not been to an online shower, let me just tell you a bit about it. It is very much like a real shower, where you would be coming over to my house and we would play games, eat food, and watch Sarah open gifts. Only at this shower, I will not be serving you food unless I sent you all a candy bar! I will be posting games and other random things on this blog for you to take part in.
As for gifts, you can look at Sarah and David's registries on the sidebar of this blog. Those are direct links into their registries. If you would like to order something for them and send it, please do. Sarah will not be allowed to open them until our actual shower "date" (sometime the week of January 17th depending on her work schedule) where she will open the presents, and we will be live blogging the gifts and you can have a conversation with Sarah in the comments as she goes. If you can't "live blog" with us that night, that is fine! I will make sure we will notify everyone when all the pictures are up.
There will be prizes for the games (gift cards!), so make sure that you play the games as they are posted.
